Fix annoying dired bug, which I don't fully understand

By not fully understand, I mean I searched for the bug and found a proposed fix
here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4076360/error-in-dired-sorting-on-os-x .
It worked, and so I guess this is in my config now.
